March Member Spotlight on Heritage Publishing

If you aren’t paying attention, you could feasibly miss the shaded brick building with a neatly manicured yard nestled into the top of St. Mary’s Hill in Port Washington. But this business is nothing new. Heritage Publishing is proud to be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year as a part of Port Washington’s business landscape.

Located at 534 North Wisconsin Street, this printing company is a family business that has been in the Keller family for about 50 years. It was started as “The Sideliner” by Kay and Howard Keller in the mid 1960s. In 1978, Michael Mackin joined in the business, they changed the name to Heritage Publishing, and purchased their current building.

If you were to visit Heritage Publishing today, you’d be greeted with warm smiles from Kim and Diane Keller, who now carry on the family legacy. “We do all kinds of printing- letterheads, calling cards, newsletters, envelopes, etc. We also do banners and posters,” explains Diane.

Kim manages the printing and set-up while Diane handles the books, proofs materials, and helps out her husband as needed. If you’re lucky, you might even get to visit with their “mascot,” Winky, a beautiful white Samoyed. “He’s completely blind, but he’ll bark at anyone who comes through the door,” the Kellers say.

While work is in Port Washington, you might see Kim and Diane cruising around Belgium on their motorcycle, for Belgium is where they call home. “We love the small town living,” grins Diane.

Heritage Publishing is offering all Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce members a 10% discount on any printing needs between now and April 15th- you just need to mention this discount at time of order. Give them a call at 262-284-5554, email them at, or check them out at and experience why they say at Heritage Publishing, “We reproduce faster than rabbits!”

The Chamber congratulates the Kellers on Heritage Publishing’s 40th Anniversary and thanks them for their generous volunteerism as Chamber members.
