Due to the pandemic, we are making a few changes for the safety of the community:
1.) The parade will be primarily contactless. Each family will receive a parade swag bag at the parade from a representative wearing a mask and gloves. Floats will not be allowed to throw candy this year to prevent further contact.
2.) There will not be any post-parade events this year.
3.) Since there are no events following the parade, the parade will take a new route, similar to Luxembourg Fest. It will start at the East end of town and proceed down Main Street to Community Park, where floats will disembark.
We encourage everyone to obey CDC and Washington-Ozaukee Health Department guidelines in terms of keeping our community safe. With the parade all down Main Street, there is plenty of outdoor space to spread out. Wear masks. Social distance. If you are not feeling well, or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19, we urge you to stay home.
We hope this parade brings joy to your holiday season.
Letters to Santa
Hey kids- look what just showed up at the Belgium Post Office! Santa Claus has sent down a special mail box that sends your letters straight up to his workshop at the North Pole. Be sure to get your letters in before December 15th so he has enough time to write back to you before he has to start packing up for the Big Night! No postage necessary, as this mail travels by the power of Christmas magic.
OUTDOOR LIGHTS DECORATING CONTEST
Show your holiday spirit! Light up the outside of your house the best way you know how and post a picture of it with your address on the Chamber Facebook page “Holiday Spirit” thread. The picture with the most likes at 9:00 pm on Friday, December 18th will win $100!
Ties to be judged by Christmas parade committee.
