Join us for Belgium's annual celebration of St. Nicholas Day and our European heritage! We will be kicking off the holiday season with a parade at 4:30 pm down Belgium’s Main Street.
Stay tuned to this page for MORE exciting Christmas season
Due to the pandemic, we are making a few changes for the safety of the community:
1.) The parade will be primarily contactless. Each family will receive a parade swag bag at the beginning of the parade from a representative wearing a mask and gloves. Floats will not be allowed to throw candy this year to prevent further contact.
2.) There will not be any post-parade events this year.
3.) Since there are no events following the parade, the parade will take a new route, similar to Luxembourg Fest. It will start at the East end of town and proceed down Main Street to Community Park, where floats will disembark.
We encourage everyone to obey CDC and Washington-Ozaukee Health Department guidelines in terms of keeping our community safe. With the parade all down Main Street, there is plenty of outdoor space to spread out. Wear masks. Social distance. If you are not feeling well, or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19, we urge you to stay home.
We hope this parade brings joy to your holiday season.
